Amalite CCL 110 Lite is a versatile and lightweight casting compound specifically designed for beginners. This product comes with two components: a water-based polymer liquid and a mineral powder base. When combined, they create a material that is easy to work with and perfect for a wide range of applications, including creating decorative cast items from rubber moulds, crafting in silicone moulds, and producing sculptures and other art pieces.
Amalite CCL 110 Lite is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. However, for outdoor applications, it is recommended to apply a sealer or an appropriate clear protective coating system to ensure durability and longevity. This casting compound provides an excellent starting point for those new to casting, offering ease of use and reliable results for all your creative projects.
Amalite CCL 110 Lite comes with a mineral powder base and a polymerbased liquid. For optimal results, the mixing ratio is 2.5 parts powder base to 1 part liquid base for drill mix casting. For hand mixing, adjust the ratio to 1.6 parts powder base to 1 part polymer liquid. (Please adjust the mixture to be thick or thin in accordance with the intricacy of the mould). While hand mixing is possible, using a drill with a mixing blade is preferred to achieve the best consistency and performance. Amalite CCL 110 Lite is the most economically suited for interior
applications, primarily decorative, using a wide range of pigments to achieve matching colors and textures to fit within the overall design. While it is not recommended for intricate silicone moulds or thin-layered moulds, it excels in the following applications:
